I've been cycling for years around Chobham Common before I noticed the Queen Victoria memorial cross (the Great Camp)I was trying to portray the spirit of a victorious march. I have the bicycle on rear instead of a horse since I can't afford a real one imagining an officer in command.I keep coming back for several days to get the shot as I was hoping for at least a decent sunset.Taken on 5th July 2001. A self portrait on a 10 mins timer so I have to panic cycle to the spot. I leave the bik

I am a professional theatre photographer. This was taken during the dress rehearsal for a dance show for a local dance company. The lighting was set and I had no control over it. I had to set the camera to suit the conditions. There was no flash and it was all set in the camera. I set the camera to F4 250th iso5000. I have a decent camera so I wasn't worried about the high iso. I followed the dancer and when she went for the move I was set to capture it.

This Tigress took a long swim to cool off from the soaring afternoon heat exceeding 100 degrees. We waited for more than 2 hours to get our vehicle close enough to have a clear shot of her and her three subadults, resting along the water?s edge nearby. The offspring slept and stretched while she kept a keen lookout. Captured in April 2025.

This ground to sky upward lightning was captured on May 1, 2025 near Bandera Texas using a full frame digital Nikon with a 28mm lens. I had the ISO set to 200 and the aperture at F/9 focused to infinity. It is a 30 second exposure. This was a very lucky shot as I had just moved the camera to view this portion of the sky moments before it happened. Although it looks like the lightning is coming from the ground, it's actually emerging from a tall radio tower about 6 miles out. The image is
