Lined up with the timing of Maidenhead's market, this will give an opportunity to capture People, cafes, vendors, street merchants, buskers, historic buildings, art installations and much more.

We will be exploring how two key factors of being behind the camera will make your images more powerful: The power of observation, and the art of patience.

Learning to "see" interesting detail is a practised skill and we introduce you to easy methods that will open your photographer's eye and expose you to a world that is alive with detail. The most rewarding part of the class is learning how to approach interesting people and have them willingly pose for you.

We will also go over settings, focusing techniques and lens choices common to street photography to help us capture those random chance encounters.

    Giorgos Chatzakis
Georgios Chatzakis (b. 2000) is a Greek artist, using photography to explore the study of landscapes. Chatzakis studied Photography (BA) at Coventry University and was recently interviewed by the Royal Photographic Society, Journal, vol 162.

His work as a practitioner is based in multidisciplinary, contemporary art practice, publishing and photobook-making. Chatzakis works with photographic manipulation to reveal different interpretations of his photographic landscapes from the perspective of the individual. He has participated in various of photography exhibitions, exploring the heritage and impacts of hiking in the countryside and creating interactive spaces with his black-and-white landscapes.

These themes lend themselves to an exploration of human interaction with the environment, both in terms of the conflicts and symbioses. Chatzakis also aims to document how the environment is manipulated by humans, how it can manipulate us, and the change it undergoes both under human perception and on a geological timescale.

I've been cycling for years around Chobham Common before I noticed the Queen Victoria memorial cross (the Great Camp)I was trying to portray the spirit of a victorious march. I have the bicycle on rear instead of a horse since I can't afford a real one imagining an officer in command.I keep coming back for several days to get the shot as I was hoping for at least a decent sunset.Taken on 5th July 2001. A self portrait on a 10 mins timer so I have to panic cycle to the spot. I leave the bik

    Title or Location: Leatherhead Theatre
I am a professional theatre photographer. This was taken during the dress rehearsal for a dance show for a local dance company. The lighting was set and I had no control over it. I had to set the camera to suit the conditions. There was no flash and it was all set in the camera. I set the camera to F4 250th iso5000. I have a decent camera so I wasn't worried about the high iso. I followed the dancer and when she went for the move I was set to capture it.

Photo was taken in August of 2023 near the San Juan Islands north west of Seattle. We were following a family of Orca who we believe were teaching their young how to hunt. This photo was of an orca in pursuit of a porpoise. I actually have two other photos of the live pursuit with the orca tracking down and catching the porpoise. I would be happy to provide those as well if you?d like.
